FAQ's
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments should be scheduled for evaluations, treatment, supervised rehabilitation, concussion care, and return-to-play assessments. Practice Prep and designated independent hours may be used without an individual appointment.
How do I schedule?
Use the Schedule an ATR Appointment link on this dashboard to access OreConnect.
How much does it cost?
Standard ATR services provided through the Mines Club Sports program are available to eligible Club Sports athletes at no cost.
Can I just come in to get taped?
Yes. Designated Practice Prep hours are intended for taping, bracing, preventative preparation, and other quick pre-practice needs.
What should I wear?
Wear athletic clothing that allows appropriate access to the injured area.
What should I bring?
Bring any braces, physician instructions, imaging reports, restrictions, or other relevant medical information you have available.
What if I'm late?
Contact the Athletic Trainer if possible. Late arrival may shorten the appointment or require rescheduling.
What if I get injured at practice?
Report the injury to the Athletic Trainer or appropriate Club Sports personnel. Even if you can continue participating, reporting it early makes follow-up considerably easier.
Can you treat illnesses or general medical problems?
The ATR primarily provides orthopedic and sports medicine services. General medical concerns will be referred to the appropriate healthcare resource.
What if I need a specialist?
The Athletic Trainer can help determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate referral when indicated. Referrals through the Athletic Trainer for Panorama Orthopedics are scheduled with higher priority.
